silver ridge, 2 house o' hill surpassed our expectations. neil, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and provided us with all the information we needed. the cozy cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable break, and the location was perfect for quiet walks and stargazing. the pub next door served excellent food and had a friendly atmosphere.

We were impressed with the abundance of hot water and appreciated Neil's instructions on how to boost it if needed. The nearby pub looked inviting, although it was fully booked during the busy bank holiday weekend. The garden was a pleasant surprise, with beautiful small trees attracting a variety of birds. a perfect location for exploring Forest Park and climbing the Merrick.
